Very, very cool, Joan! I was on the board of a very good community choir for a few years. I do not sing well myself, but there is something incredibly special about choral music - a very deep feeling of community, all coming together as one.
Way back in time, it happened that choir teachers would discourage young guys, whose voices were changing, from singing in the group. They were told to just mouth the words and not sing! What a disgrace!

I had a female friend who was told to just mouth the words. These bad messages have hurt a lot of people.
